Mrs. Ira Hall Died in Olean on Sunday Last

Mrs. Alice E. Hall, wife of Ira T. Hall, formerly of this borough, died at her home in Olean on Sunday evening, January 2, 1910 after an illness of about three days. On Thursday Mrs. Hall had a stroke of paralysis and she was unable to rally from its effects. She was in her 59th year of life. The deceased was born in Bradford on the 8th of March, 1850 and about ten years ago she was married to Mr. Hall. Soon after they came to Smethport where they resided until last fall when they moved to Olean. Mrs. Hall was a woman of excellent qualities and during her residence here she made a boat of friends who will deeply mourn her loss. She and her aged husband were most devoted and her loss will be an unusually severe blow to him. Mrs. Hall leaves besides her husband, two brothers, Horatio Brown of Olean and William Brown of Virginia. The body was brought to Smethport on Tuesday and the funeral services were held from the Methodist Episcopal Church. The burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.[The McKean County Miner (Smethport, Penn.)
