Died in Lansing, very suddenly, on Sunday, 13th instant, Mr. MOSES REEVE, one of the earliest settlers of said town, aged about 70. The circumstances were as follows: He arose in the morning, in good health, took breakfast, and made no complaint. Near noon he was informed that the hogs were in a potatoe-yard, destroying the potatoes. He went to the yard, 60 or 80 rods from his house, and was seen and heard driving the hogs, also seen standing by the fence. A few minutes after, he was discovered dead on the ground, near the fence and spot where he was last seen standing. No doubts are entertained but he died by a sudden visitation of God.
