Pennel Hill Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Halifax. Its located on the Halifax, Vt. & Colerain, MA line. The line post is in the south west corner of the cemetery. The plot is enclosed by a stone wall, one wall the stones are mixed with cement. There are many sunken graves, and several stones are partly tipped over. This cemetery is about three miles from Valley or Stone's Mills, in a southerly direction. It adjoins the farm of Leon Shenaky in the Town of Halifax, Windham County, Vermont.
