Cranesville Cemetery is located on old Route 5 across from Krutz Paving Co. on the hill across the spur track of NYC on the east side of the road, in the Town of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York.

Most of the stones have fallen face forward and cannot be read. At the back of the cemetery there are the remains of a stone vault which must have burned at one time, because there are charred fallen timbers inside. The wrought iron gate is still intact. Recorded May 1978.
