SUICIDE OF AN ENGINEER
Wm. Raplee, a railroad engineer from Minnesota, died in Montgomery last week from the effects of an overdose of morphine taken with suicidal intent. Raplee was despondent over failure to secure work, and after a weeks' spree ended his life. His mother lives in St. Paul. [Marion County Democrat, (Hamilton, AL), December 31, 1903]
