BAXTER, Capt. Moses Obituary

ANOTHER REVOLUTIONARY PATRIOT GONE

Died on the 28th inst., at his residence in Fort Ann, in this County, Capt. Moses Baxter, a soldier in the War of the Revolution, aged 95 years.

Capt. Baxter removed, soon after the close of the war, from Massachusetts on to the same farm on which he died;-where he lived to be "the Father of many Generations," having had borne unto him, while he was permitted to remain among them--7 children, about 50 grandchildren--[of whom Albert Baker, of this village, is one,]--about 70 G. G. children, and 5 or 6 G. G. G. children. [Washington County Journal, Union-Village, N.Y.), October 30, 1845.]
