ALEXANDER, Wm Albert Obituary, Sept. 5, 1850

In this village, July 20th, 1850, Wm. Albert Alexander, eldest son of Wm. and Evelina Alexander, aged about 6 years. He died after a painful illness of two weeks, which he bore with that patience which those older in years might well imitate. During his sickness he left his parents many previous mementoes that the Grace of God had made him meet to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Rockwell, Hannah Eliza Obituary, Sept. 12, 1850

In Otisco, Onondaga Co., August 31st, Hannah Eliza, wife of John Rockwell and only daughter of Jacob and Martha R. Pawling, of Rodman, in the 26th year of her age.

By this afflicting providence many friends are called to mourn. The deceased was beloved by all who were acquainted with her. She was lovely in her deportment and possessed an intellectual mind. She was ardently affectionate to her friends and with disinterestedness of purpose, sought to benefit her fellow beings. But the distinguishing characteristic was her devoted piety. Her last illness continued two weeks, during which period she endured intense suffering. But her last moments were calm; she seemed engaged in devotion--audibly expressed the name of Jesus, then passed away to the realms of immortality in the triumph of faith.
