At his residence in Stephentown, (Rensselaer Co.) Gen. Hosea Moffit, aged about 70 years. General Moffit was one of the earliest settlers of that county, He was a soldier of the Revolution; the first Representitive from Rensselaer in the Assembly of this state, and not many years since, a Representative in Congress.
