WESTPORT - Mr. Ivory C. Tripp passed away from a world of care on Saturday afternoon, at the ripe age of 71 years. This illness, which was very painful, brief, and proved fatal, was the first sickness in which the services of a physician had been required in the whole of his life. He was a gentleman respected by all who knew him and especially by his nearest neighbors wo are not limited in their praise of his neighborly and accommodating disposition, at the same time attending strictly to his own affairs. He has served the town for a long time as superintendent of Beach Grove Cemetery in a very efficient and satisfactory manner, and his example of industry, fidelity and integrity will long be remembered by a large circle of bereaved relatives and friends.
