A Chapter of Fatalities
Buffalo, NY, June 30 — William Roth while swimming in the Buffalo creek, got beyond his depth and was drowned. Louis Knoeppel, while sailing, collided with a tow boat. His boat capsized and Knoeppel was drowned before the rescuing parties could reach him. Edward Weller went in bathing in the harbor back of Fort Porter, was taken with cramps and drowned.
