Dewey Family Cemetery is located on the Lee F. Whitford Farm, (the old Dewey Farm) on the West side of the Oriskany Creek, near and north of Walesville, Town of Whitestown, Oneida County, New York.

Dewey, Amasa, d. Feb. 25, 1863 ae. 83 yrs.

Dewey, A.J., d. July 3, 1851. Stone erected by his sister

Dewey, Luke, d. Aug. 6, 1876 ae. 63 yrs.

Forshee, "Sacred to the Memory of Catharine My Love"
	by John Forshee, Sept. 11, 1856

Forshee, John, d. March 31, 1884

Forshee, Remetta, relict of Dr. I.N. Meacham and wife of
	John Forshee, d. March 4, 1873. (Double Stone)

Meacham, "The Body entombed here was deprived of its spirit
	Jan. 5, 1854 and was relieved of its sufferings
	at the Utica Insane Akylum where he had been
	nourished & cherished for several weeks.

Sharp, Thomas, d. Oct. 29, 1843 ae. 40 yrs.

Sharp, Fanny A., wife of Thomas, d. Sept. 14, 1863 ae. 56 yrs.

There is a large iron fence around the Cemetery and a large
	maple tree stands in each corner.
