Parke Cemetery is sometimes called "The Four Mile Square Cemetery". It is one of the oldest cemeteries in Camden, N.Y. It is about one mile south of the Village of Camden on a cross road leading from the Mc Connellsville Road east to the Taberg Road. The cemetery was originally a part of the Daniel Parke (a Revolutionary War Soldier and one of the earliest settlers in Camdem) farm, and was set apart in 1820 for burial purposes. A few bodies were re-interred in the Parke Cemetery from the old cemetery on Blakeslee Road, accounting for some tombstones of earlier dates. All legible inscriptions were copied.
