Chenango | Lisle | Union

Chenango embraced the modern towns of Chenango, Binghamton, Fenton, Kirkwood, Dickinson, Conklin, Windsor, Colesville, and Sanford, all in Broome County. At the census of 1790, no town of Chenango existed as of yet. Those parts of Sandford, Colesville and Windsor lying west of the Susquehanna River were part of Harpersfield Town and the inhabitants were so listed. The area west of the Susquehanna was a part of Whitestown but seems to be listed in Chemung for census purposes.
